The PRENATAL METHOD Yoga Teacher Training Program will prepare you to teach dynamic and active yoga for pregnancy. Explore how yoga can relieve common discomforts of pregnancy, help with pain management during labor, and accelerate recovery after birth. Delve into the culture of birth, and learn how to weave concepts of childbirth education into prenatal yoga classes. PRENATAL METHOD teachers will empower women to become advocates for themselves, for their birth experiences, and for their babies. Our training program is grounded in research of best practices for pregnancy, labor, and birth.  PRENATAL METHOD is a Yoga Alliance Registered School.

Teacher Training is for:

  • 200-hour/500-hour Certified Yoga Teachers 

  • Current 200-hour/500-hour Teacher Trainees seeking an emphasis in prenatal and postpartum care

  • Experienced yoga students (with permission from Prenatal Method)

  • Birth Professionals; childbirth educators, doulas, midwives, nurses, OB/GYN’s interested in learning how yoga can benefit their clients and how to add yoga to their current care modalities


Study and Practice:
You will:

  • Learn how to teach prenatal yoga classes that are fun, creative,and safe for women at any stage of pregnancy

  • Discover how to adapt and modify yoga postures for each trimester

  • Learn how to structure class sequences, and improve upon your teaching skill set for the prenatal and postpartum student

  • Learn about prenatal and postpartum anatomy and physiology 

  • Learn how to create and nurture an open, supportive community for mothers, babies and their partners

  • Explore the effects of pregnancy on the chakra system, and the subtle body
